We offer a master’s degree in mass communication.

Course Works & Program Requirement
Students in the MCOM program are required to complete 34 credit hours, comprising required courses and elective courses.
Students in the MCOM program are required to complete and pass the Master’s Thesis Oral defense.
A student must complete the MCOM program within 4 years, with a minimum requirement of 2 years.

- Students who have not earned any credits in the subject area of news gathering and/or news writing are required to take the course, "Studies in News Gathering and Writing" before graduation.
- The maximum number of credit hours students may get from outside of MCOM toward graduation requirements is 12 credits.
